Responsibilities

  • Become a steward of our culture and embrace our business model as our way of doing business
  • Strive for recruitment excellent by partnering with hiring managers to determine staffing needs, select appropriate method(s) for recruitment, source candidates, perform in-person interviews and make recommendations during debriefing sessions
  • Maintain relationships with both internal and external clients to ensure staffing goals are achieved
  • Serve as a liaison with area employment agencies, colleges, and industry associations
  • Maximize effective communication of internal opportunities utilizing our internal job board and on-going discussion between supervisors as it relates to employee career development
  • Identify opportunities to improve candidate experience and scheduling efficiency
  • Coordinate post-interview debrief meetings and provide debrief materials
  • Support usage of applicant tracking software and internal HRIS system
  • Assist in the coordination of other recruiting and selection activities as needed
  • Interpret and administer Human Resources policies and answers questions regarding procedures and programs
  • Maintain data management to ensure educated decisions are taken to meet our growth needs and provide timely reports on employment activity
  • Support and assist in the development of HR recruitment strategies
  • Support the execution of Performance Reviews including communication to leaders in understanding proper development/communication
  • Provide coaching on employee-related issues, career development, performance discussions, and administration of corrective action
  • Maintain and update personnel files to stay in regulation with State and Federal Law, as well as company policy

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related discipline
  • 5+ years in a Human Resources Generalist role
  • Results oriented person with excellent communication skills, initiative and accountable
  • Knowledge of full life cycle recruiting and experience recruiting all position levels including hourly, salaried, non-exempt and exempt and Leadership positions.
  • Self- motivated to define and drive continuous improvement of processes
  • Previous work experience in a manufacturing environment
