EHS Knowledge Management Coordinator



SRG Global is searching for an Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Knowledge Management (KM) professional with a passion for driving continuous improvement in process efficiency and effectiveness.


This position reports to the Senior Director, Global EHS. The position develops and executes technical and functional responsibilities related to the knowledge management of the EHS, product stewardship and sustainability programs.  The person in this role is responsible for administration, continuous improvement, and operation of a range of EHS related information systems (IS) and the data management contained within these systems.  These IS are designed to meet corporate, regulatory and customer requirements. 



The ideal candidate will possess the skills and knowledge sought below but, of equal importance, he or she will be self- motivated, possess a positive attitude, and be a creative thinker.  This is a “hands-on” position that will work with EHS staff at the manufacturing operations and in the headquarters location.  Working effectively with a number of staff and teams is crucial for success.



  • Perform Compliance and Regulatory Services Software configuration to ensure optimum functionality, ease of user access, and metric visibility sufficient to gauge alignment with the EH&S Vision.
  • Use EH&S Management software to manage data related to injuries, incidents, environmental metrics, corrective action items, and other pertinent measures.
  • Demonstrate IS skills that make positive change with the range of third-party EHS IS (i.e., Perillon, ERA, Resource Advisor, MSDS-On Line, SharePoint) used by the company.
  • Be able to coach, teach, and mentor sites on the use of EHS IS and produces and supports education and training programs in support of this objective.
  • Lead the implementation of new systems and upgrades/improvements of the EHS IS and support in the development of EHS IS strategies.
  • Manage and monitor all EHS performance metrics and prepare reporting processes that monitor and report progress.
  • Develop and implement EHS IS plans and tools that reduce EHS risks and create efficiencies and value for SRG Global.
  • Serves as technical resource for IS EHS training and support within a global manufacturing organization.
  • Maintains records, reports, and documents required to meet corporate, customer and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain effective and accurate systems and tools to support ISO 14001:2015 implementation.



  • Experience with EH&S software including compliance management, audit management, incident management and data analysis
  • ISO 14001:2015 Auditing and Program experience; or equivalent Management System
  • Ability to understand and analyze EH&S data and communicate regarding trends and opportunities for improvement
  • The ability to analyze data and effectively communicate regarding what the data means
  • Ability to interact, coach, mentor, and service internal customers
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field, preferably in safety and environmental related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a service oriented safety and environmental field
